In the Mood of Loss

งานชุดนี้ถูกถ่ายสองครั้งในปี 2017 และอีกครั้งปี 2018 เหมือนผมได้เฝ้าดูชีวิตของคนคู่หนึ่งที่ได้พบรักและสูญเสียคนที่รักไป งานจบลงไปเท่านี้และไม่ได้เผยแพร่ที่ใดอีก ทั้งสองภาพแยกจากกันด้วยเวลาและระยะทางในฮาร์ดไดร์ฟ เมื่อโควิด-19 ระบาดขึ้น ภาพความสูญเสียจากหลายๆครอบครัว หลายคู่รักถูกนำเสนอผ่านสื่อต่างๆ ทำให้ผมจำได้ว่าเคยถ่ายสองภาพนี้จึงนำกลับมาสำรวจใหม่และนำเสนออีกภาพหนึ่งที่ทั้งสองกลับมาเจอกันในมิติที่สูงขึ้น อาจเป็นจักรวาลคู่ขนานหรือมิติลี้ลับทางวิญญาณแล้วแต่จะจินตนาการ แต่หลักใหญ่ใจความคือ “พบกัน-จากกัน” เป็นฉากของชีวิตที่ทุกคนต้องเจอ เราจะเก็บเรื่องราวเหล่านี้ไว้อย่างไร ตรงไหนบนพื้นที่เวลาของพวกเรา

This work was shot twice in 2017 and 2018. It's like watching the life of a couple who fell in love and lost a loved one. The work ended up like this and was not published anywhere else. The two images are separated by time and distance on the hard drive. When the COVID-19 spreading; images of the deaths of many families and couples were presented through various media. It reminded me that I have these two images. I re-explored them and created a new one digitally that both meet in a higher dimension. It could be a parallel universe or a mystical spiritual dimension depending on audiences’ imagination. Anyway the main idea is "meeting and leaving". It is a scene of life that everyone has to face. How will we keep these stories and where in our time area?
